About Me
I'm an Art Director
I’m an Art Director with over 10 years of experience in television marketing. I lead creatively, finding revenue-producing concepts for print, on-air, and digital platforms.
What I really do, though, is connect dots. I find the lines that connect between a need and a result. I think of myself as a ‘smart creative.’
It’s all about balance. My approach to design focuses on finding creative solutions without sacrificing business sense. Finding the right balance between creative concepts and brand strategy leads to amazing results. I’m the one who finds that balance.
You’ll find the same sort of balance in my work style. It flows with ease and flexibility, but it’s balanced with an unwavering vision and plenty of high-level solutions to meet whatever need comes your way.
I take a ‘blank canvas’ approach to design. Less is more – it’s as simple as that. I use simplicity as a guide to my design, and say no to the type of clutter that keeps a brand’s essence from coming through.
You might point to my education at Woodbury University as the starting point for my attitude towards design and creative solving. My time spent earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design with an Entertainment graphics focus was invaluable in developing my skills, but I think my approach started earlier than that. Even as a child I had a deep love for the arts, enjoying the attention to detail necessary to bringing an idea to paper just as much as the act of painting and drawing.
Nothing is more thrilling to me than the process of creating a concept and seeing it come to life. I love to dig in to new brands and ideas, going beyond the creative brief to create something that can’t really be put into words. I’m determined to go above and beyond in any project I take on, and to share a new perspective whenever the situation require.
I’ve refined my approach to design and finding creative solutions through projects that span the spectrum from in-house experiences with Fortune 500 companies to established lifestyle brands to swift-moving startups. My work encompasses print, digital. corporate branding, advertising. branded entertainment, and brand strategy. You could say I’ve seen it all.
My career as an Art Director started with Univision Communications. I brought marketing and promotions to life for both local and national affiliates, but that was just the beginning. I staged live events, created annual upfront presentations, and got in the mix with integrated marketing campaigns.
Next, I led an international team of designers at Azteca America Networks on a highly-publicized network rebranding initiative. I loved the challenge of directing and motivating an interdisciplinary team in my role as Manager of the Graphics & Creative Services department.
Later I joined Jennifer Lopez’s NUVOtv, collaborating on two network launches and expanding my role as Senior Art Director for show marketing campaigns.
Today you’ll find me in Los Angeles, finding constant inspiration in arts, music, and style. You’ll find me relishing in the detail, form, and colors of Tom Ford, Gucci, Stella McCartney, and Marc Jacob’s inspiring fashions. You’ll find me lost in the sound of the next Adele, Gilberto, or Ellie Goulding concert.
Most of all, though, you’ll find me helping brands like yours bring vision to life, and loving every second of it.
